Harsh Reality
You say I'm such a lost cause,
You say I never get my point across,
Would you pay attention to my words?
That could reveal how wrong your prediction was,
All I ever expected was to walk away unscathed,
But you are always the one to point out my missteps.

I hope I could say you represent nothing to me,
But you catch the lie, amazingly yet so effortlessly,
Your mocking, crooked smiles, and your wicked eyes,
Shows me how I have expended my valuable time.
Pretty little lies, spoken so very wise,
I shouldn’t have confided in you with my life.

What was I to you? A means to your future?
Gorgeously structured you are yet such a rotten spyware,
Why in the world did I ever think of you and your deceiving compassion?
All those sleepless nights and crazy mornings,
Was that your way of exhibiting your feelings?

Do I even want to know what were you trying to convince?
All those spam emails and messages,
Was that how you cared? Who are you trying to deceive?
Fashionable clothes and impeccable shoes,
Do you think those were what I desired from you?
Spare me all your pitiful looks,
Since I was just another pawn in your twisted games.

At last, someone from my generation knew how cunning you were,
Trust me, since I now know better,
How much of a sour candy and a wasted scrap you are,
Let just hope you stay away forever.
I’m so delighted we are over.
