A forest draped in snow.
The faint light of a lantern which two lost souls glow
As they make their way through the darkness of night.

The trees stand close, side by side.
Snow dances down from the sky, past the lantern’s light.
White flakes drift from above to the ground below;
Soft flakes that playfully tumble through the air as they flow.

We each have our own soul, it’s true, yet we cannot be lost,
For one is only lost when alone, at great cost.
