I can feel my death nearing
I have died a few times while living,
But this one is the final death.
One that will show people the kind of pain I've been through.
One that will highlight the suffering I faced.
Darkness is nearing.
I can feel it and it's ok.
I have suffered a lot and peace would really mean a lot to me.
My soul left my body a long time ago,
And for the past years I've been a dead person walking,
And no one noticed.
I tried reaching out for help but everyone was busy with their own things.
Maybe if I die, they'll all notice that my smile and laughter were just me hiding my pain.
And my silence was me pulling myself together so that I don't breakdown.
I tried being strong but it's now my time to go and I'm ready. it's okay .
I just hope they understand.
