The letter started with my dear friend,
& ended with your's loyal companion in the end,
The letter read I miss you my dear friend,
And how we used to walk hand in hand.

The humorous jokes and competitive games,
Our long conversation and the nicknames,
Were described in that letter I remember,
And how absence makes the heart grow fonder.

The letter contained a few words & phrases,
But a zillion emotions that would stay for ages,
The letter also contained some complains,
Written with a bit of anger and pain.

The laughter and tears we had shared,
All somehow seemed to come alive again,
The mischiefs and pranks we had dared,
That were part of our golden childhood lane.
