Shadows of the Soul
In shadows deep, where light does fade,
A silent battle, courage frayed.
Depression's grip, a heavy chain,
It clouds the heart, it mutes the pain.
A heavy shroud, a weight so vast,
A never-ending, haunting cast.
Invisible, but deeply felt,
A constant war within oneself.
Yet in the darkness, hope can bloom,
A tiny spark, dispelling gloom.
For in our hearts, resilience thrives,
And with support, the soul revives.
Reach out, dear friend, for you are not alone,
Together we can make depression overthrown.
With love and care, the world may mend,
And bring the light back, around the bend.
