Made me feel like I was in a little piece of heavenly bliss!
Though we are no longer together sometimes you my heart does miss!

It’s feelings I wish could easily resist!
But not just something I can easily dismiss!
Sometimes I think back in us and want to reminisce!

But those are long gone it was my heart you decided to break!
Cheating on me it hurt worse than I ever imagined and it was almost too much to take!
Often wonder if you realized now what you did was a mistake!

Maybe we were better off for yours and my sake!
Wish it was just a bad dream that soon I’ll be awake!
I wonder if the love you had for me was all just pretend and fake!

Were you just in reality a slimy, slithering, hissing snake?
No I don’t believe that you were cuz I feel sometimes maybe your heart does ache!
Only know that you’re happy now and no you I will not forsake!

Still hurts cuz my heart was what was at stake!
Made me cry and sometimes I’d also shake!
Let me tell people that love is hard and not a piece of cake!

I forgave you long ago something I hope you could foresee!
Though I’ve forgiven you still this broken heart of mine was the fee!
It was like a tornado went off in my heart and the broken pieces are the debris!

I had loved you so much I was close to getting down on bended knee!
Guess that just wasn’t ever meant to be!
Yes, your face sometimes I can still see!

Still hurts all these years later to some degree!
Maybe in a way you were actually able to set me free!
Guess the real thing to wonder is if there’s any room in my heart for love left in me!
