It spread far and wide,
Embracing its victims with a death's grip
From the highest in officialdom, to the busy trader, student and worker;
Irrespective of nationality, colour or religion,
Spreading its icy tentacles of fear, Climbing from tiny apartments to the rooftops of palatial bungalows,
For sickness and death are great levelers,
They Spare not and Respect none; Often,leaving behind
Silent tales of sacrifice; many unknown heroisms!!
