Echoes of Solitude
In a world so bustling, I find a quiet plea,
Sometimes, my mind's tired of all that there may be.
I yearn for a refuge, a tranquil space to fill,
Yet it seems such solace is but a distant hill.

The weight of sleep makes my shoulders bend,
Laughter, once sweet, feels like a heavy trend.
Tears, they fall, a drought within my soul,
As if the world conspires to take its toll.

I wonder if I'm misplaced in this realm so wide,
Or perhaps, I'm not as calloused as the world outside.
Loneliness wraps around, a cloak so cold,
In this harsh world, where stories unfold.

People matter, yes, in the depths of my core,
But reciprocity's lacking, leaving me wanting more.
I gather scattered pieces of my existence, I strive,
In this intricate dance, where it's hard to feel alive.

Yet, amid the struggles, I'll keep my grace,
Seeking solace, finding strength to embrace.
For in the darkest moments, when the world seems stark,
I'll find my light within, and embark on a new spark.
