Sometimes the book ends before we are done reading the story
We suddenly stop at an unexpected destination when we thought that we might have some part of a journey still
We loose people that we still wanted to have even just a small part of a future with
But just because the chapters that we loved have been torn out of one tale it doesn't mean that our story is worthless
Every moment, bright and beautiful, or dark and painful, has a place within our hearts and souls
And that is where we know, deep down, that it'll be okay
That we still have the next book to look forward to
That even though the characters that we cherished won't be part of the next plotline
We can still live and find happiness again
Because each ending gifts us with memories and blessings that won't completely fade
Though it'll feel like a curse to look back on sometimes
And this time we can be better prepared to write our own story
Rather than just read the one that was left unfinished...
