THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SONG EVER
Once upon a time there was only three canaries left in the whole intire world. Two males and one female. The male birds would sing all day for the female bird's undivided attention.
She chose one as her lover. He would sing to her merry, chirpy, happy songs because he knew that she was committed to him.
The other male would sing his heart out with songs of endearment everyday from sunrise to sunset. He would sing his heart out for her, but she would pay him no attention.
The more he sang the more beautiful his songs became. Still she wouldn't even look his way.
One day he hit a note that was so beautiful he didn't want to let it go, with the exception of the female bird every creature on earth, including her lover turned and looked at him. She did not turn and he did not stop. He blew out his last breath and fell to the ground and died.
The earth became silent. There was and still is a great emptiness and void in the atmosphere. Everyone missed and wanted to hear the beautiful songs of this bird again, but those songs of endearment and his beautiful voice was now gone forever.
No one missed his songs more than the female bird
Everyday for the rest of her life. She would look over the cherry tree where he used to sit and sang all day for her.
She yearned to hear the infinite beauty of his songs, enwrapped and delivered with his loving, passionate, sweet, caring voice. If only just one more time. But he was gone forever.
