Walking Alone
In a world that follows a beaten trail,
I embarked on an untrodden path.
Yearning for treasures that may prevail,
With hope, I questioned life's aftermath.

Sometimes, the road seemed barren and dry,
Other times, blooming with vibrant grace.
Though I stumbled and fell, tears would dry,
With every setback, strength I embrace.

This journey, I chose, will last a lifetime,
Bound on this earth until my last breath.
Yet, anticipation fills me sublime,
For a future with dreams that conquer death.

In solitude I'll tread, forging a unique way,
Guided by fate's whim, seeking awe and display.
To cherish a life so grand, my heart remains thrilled,
On my final breath's release, contentment distilled.
