My Heart Is Very Heavy
My heart is very heavy,
Like it weighed a thousand pounds.
Like clouds turning dark and gray;
And it terrifies the ground,
And a large army abound.
This ambience is foreboding;
And then, this eerie feeling;
Constantly peering me in.
But what can it get from me?
My heart is very heavy.
The world now is its burden.
Giving it loathsome back pain.
Have mine heart bring off a sin?
One thing that is clear and sound;
Sweetness there and pain, I've found.
