Dark is the night,
Darker the soul,
Fathomless depths,
Stories untold

Raw is the flesh,
Wounds slow to heal,
Scars mapped deep,
Emotions dead to feel

Memories remain dormant,
Thoughts roam in chaos,
Silence births madness,
The dying carcass needs a seance

Starving for acceptance,
In a world gone cold,
A ghost aimlessly wandering,
Denial reigns bold

Screaming internally,
Eyes ignore the seekers plight,
Talking to mute walls,
Everything is fading but, the will to fight
