Why I Wander
When I was young, I used to wander far away,
And in my mind and in my heart,
I would travel day-to-day,
Never once looking over my shoulder,
Never caring what anyone else can say...

Don't wonder why I wander,
I don't think I even know myself,
I guess it just gives me time to ponder,
About a life beyond common sense.

They say that everything we see,
Came from someone's dream,
And though you may not think the best of me,
I won't live my life from someone else's point of view,
And I think somehow we've forgotten, that it's always how we were meat to be!

Don't ask me why I wander,
Oh, you can catch me if you try,
It just gives me these things to ponder,
When I separate the truth from lies.

It doesn't matter to me,
If it's a chance or just a thrill,
I'll wander where I want to be,
Even if it's only in my mind,
Because the world is still a sight to see!

So, don't wonder why I wander,
Does is even matter anymore?
All I know, is I've got some time to ponder,
Before my wandering days are done.
