The Paradox of Being Human
Breaking through the fog that hangs high above this head. Peeling back the layers to find the secrets that have been buried within.
The shadows have held the gates closed for far too long, it’s time to let them rest, it’s time to break free and let your light shine through.
Stop turning your lamp down low for other people’s benefit, for they are only afraid of what they see in their reflection. Your light is too bright for their eyes.
Be among those that compliment your energy, not confuse or complicate. Be among those that stimulate growth and connection and not the opposite. For in life there are very few knowns.
We are born knowing that one day we will die, and spend that time, fearing that very thought instead of living life. The ultimate paradox that will exist within. The very aspects of being human.
So, what is the answer?
What is the cure to what ails our hearts?
We should live each day being present to what surrounds us for a start. The little clues and cues that are left for us to see, the beauty that surrounds us with every step. The love that is within us at every breath.
Being complete in the knowing that nothing will ever be perfect, and in that knowing continue to live fully and freely with an open heart, a curious mind and a childish spirit.
