Not Even Death Can Stop Me
I am an actor who wears a mask.
The world is the stage.
The humans are my audience.
I smile.
Smile.
Smile.
Smile.
Smile.
I dance with my red shoes on, without stopping — no callouses nor wounds would stop me.
I sing with my mouth open wide, without stopping — no cracks nor sores would stop me.
I smile with bright, white teeth, without stopping — no twitch nor strain would stop.
I perform — dancing, singing, and smiling, without stopping, not even death could stop me.
Once death takes me hand, please look at me and tell me how well I've done,
Mother.
