uncertainty
I'm more than capable
when I'm not fighting fires in my own body
I have the passion
when it's not plagued by my mechanical failures
It's close enough to touch
but the lights are blinding
and the sounds like sirens
slipping from hope
It's simple enough
yet I feel thousands of cells struggling against the weight
I just want to push through this can't
but today it's dried cement to a wooden spoon
