I wish I was good at art
I wish I was better at the words I use to speak
But I sometimes wish that I could draw
I wish I could draw the unexpected
I wish I could draw my worst times
And then be drawn to a better future

I mean if I could draw
Maybe then me and my mind would call it a draw
Stop being at each other’s throats
As we’re falling and falling
Faster and faster

I’d draw what I wish my life was
You know?
I’d draw a time where I’d see people
And have good connections
