I find myself again
in those lost thoughts
I was never perfect
but neither was the world
Should I just be me
or be somebody
who's a stranger to me?
why is this world so cruel-
that they don't realise
there's beauty inside
an imperfect face!
or is it my face or your heart
that isn't actually beautiful?
I'm done fitting into this-
perfect world for the perfect ones
and it doesn't matter
to stand out just to be real
in this perfect world!
But I bet you
my soul will be free
no matter how much you
try to burn it -
I will still rise like a-
phoenix from my ashes
burnt by you-
all that just to
live my definition of life!
I'm not giving my
ears to you
but I'm gonna live my years
for me;
But I want you to
mark my words;
you can either be
the master of your life
or be the slave of someone else's
and I chose to be the master of mine-
live your life for you
and leave others to live theirs!
There are no burnt faces
but only burnt hearts!
