Lonely
In twilight's hush, where shadows dance and play,
I wander lost, with heart full of dismay.
The moon, a silver crescent in the sky,
Illuminates the night, but not my sigh.

The stars, like diamonds in the velvet black,
Twinkle and sparkle, but cannot bring me back.
The wind, a gentle breeze that whispers low,
Fills my heart with longing, but does not know.

The trees, like sentinels of solitude,
Stand guard against the darkness, mute.
Their leaves, a rustling symphony,
Echo the sorrow that I cannot hide.

The world, a vast and empty space,
Stretches out before me, endless and cold.
I am a small and lonely soul,
Adrift in a sea of forgotten dreams.

But still, I hold on to hope, a spark,
A glimmer of light in the darkest part.
For in the depths of loneliness and pain,
There is a beauty that remains, a love that remains.
