Bold strokes of a confident hand,
The painting is a masterpiece,
Executed as planned...
Though noone thought I would finish
For this masterpiece took years to come
For my hands drew dull and numb of the last weeks of finishing
Such a piece.....of this magnitude always give me unease in the final moments
After, I sit on the outskirts of my balcony next to Mel, the flower pot as the sunset gleams across the room to my masterpiece
Putting its final touches among
Something that is not of me to do
I go across the room just to grab my camera
To capture such a moment...the finishing touch
For this is a moment within a moment
That will last through the years
