The Mask of Sukainah
The Mask of Sukainah
A prose poem by
Hikmet Elhadj
And she said to him,
Father, did you surrender
to death?
He said how not to be so!
She said, bring us back
to home ,father.
No way, he said,
now it's too late,
But, if they had left
the Sandgrouse alone,
it would have fallen asleep.
