I'll Rather Severe Every Moment
#LifeChangingContest

I detest not beauty and make up,
I just prefer to paint a beautiful future,
And so, my hustle, I must lace up,
To smile in forthcoming pictures.

I am not allergic to leisure,
But as fate will demand from me,
War against poverty is my pleasure,
My dream and courage are my army.

Life is a readymade war for everyone.
Your consent, it won't require.
You only have to be born,
Then you're deemed to be a soldier.

In life's tourney, my mindset opposed me,
I saw beauty in everyone but myself.
My failure had gotten the best of me.
Months? I found no moment of the twelve.

Not until nature thought me a lesson,
I have failed to severe every moment,
And because I failed to count my blessings,
I was intimidated by my environment.

The river that flows down the hill,
Is never able to be a moment still.
The rocks and pebbles at its bed,
Lie as steady as the dead.

The river wish to rest a while,
To stop being a stagnant wanderer.
The rock wish to travel like Nile,
"How sweet will it be?" she wonders.

The trees sway to the hymn of the birds,
They swing and wave to the skye.
The flowers are beautifully bred,
They habour the glowing butterflies.

The trees stare in astonishment,
They envy the beautiful flowers below.
The flowers say in amazement,
"wow! up up up the trees grow"

The flower haboured butterflies,
have not for once ceased to flutter.
The birds continued to fly high,
They sing like heavenly choristers.

The butterflies wish to fly so high,
To see what the world look like.
The birds wish the flowers were nigh,
And they won't for nectar, hijack.

Then the wind said to me;
"would you rather be any of them?"
I nodded in disagreement,
I'll rather severe every moment.
