To Love Out Loud
I hate being a spectacle in public,
Eyes upon me, a feeling so tumultuous.
But I never wanted love confined,
To secret corners, hidden and blind.
I crave a love that stands in the light,
Unashamed, bold, and in plain sight.
Not just whispers in the dead of night,
But open, clear, and in the daylight bright.
I tire of shadows, the hidden embrace,
The stolen moments, a fleeting trace.
I long for a love that's not afraid,
To walk with me, no secrets made.
So, though I shun the public eye,
I yearn for love that doesn't hide.
To be cherished, known, and free,
Not just in private, but openly.
