Love and the world
I have an autistic younger brother,
To the whole world,
He is but a stain on the world,
A loud unbecoming menace,
But when I left to go study,
He'd grab a lemon,
And wait for me by the door,
He remembered that I loved lemonades before I realized I loved them,
And maybe that was my earliest sign to never let the world decide,
Because I have a brother who waits for me with a splash of the brightest sunniest yellow in his hands,
And if he isn't enough for this world,
Then maybe this world isn't enough for me,
And the world can walk by unbothered,
It's always been a little unbothered of diamonds in the sands anyway.
