THE BULL RIDE
Every sunday afternoon he climbs aboard the beast.  A ragin bull that weights 1200 pounds at least every ounce  is full of mean and every pound is filled with hate.
the bull was bread for just one trait  to make the rider meet his fate The rider's only thought is  this "I have to stay aboard for eight

In the chute bull and rider wait for the hell that's going to start when they open up the gate
The crowd erupts when the bull and rider clear the gate they think it's great, as around the arena bull and rider up and down gyrate

Trying to throw the rider the bull leaps into the air and twists and turns before returning to the ground.
But through it all atop the bull the rider still is found.

But the bull just isn't built to quit and the rider's built plum full of grit.

And so the battle rages, out in the sunday sun
Between the bull and rider until one of them has won.

I will leave it for you to decide who won that battle great.
Did the bull throw the rider or did the rider make his eight?
