I wait minutes for your response
Disappointment is a close friend
I try to message only once
But l never say it all before I press send
I wait hours for your Call
Hoping your thinking of me too
Do I cross your mind at all
Tell me what I can do
I wait days to see you
but you are never there
I wish I knew
what is behind that painful Stare.
I wait weeks for any Sign
Still no reply

And yet time still goes by

Months turn to years
I debated
