Behind the scenes
People were so shocked to hear about what happened to Drake Bell.
So was I.
I didn’t watch the Nickelodeon “Quiet on Set” documentary. But I’ve seen a bunch of clips. And I’ve heard a lot about it from the actress who played on Zoey 101 and the things that happened to Jeanette Mccurdy.
It is puzzling to watch our childhood burn down to flames realizing all the hurt, trauma, and pain the child stars we grew up watching we’re enduring behind the scenes.
These stars had many kids at home watching television wishing we were in their places but we had no idea what they all were going through when the cameras stopped rolling.
All they knew were Lights‼️ Camera‼️ Action‼️ and when the lights went out they were praying for a distraction.
They were praying and hoping a distraction would come and stop those monsters from hurting them. Whether if the monsters were their own parents or the monsters they had to work with professionally.
These stars gave us all a childhood while theirs was stripped away from them.
Yes they are famous.
Some of them may even be rich.
But man oh man did they have a price to pay for fame.
That fame came with a traumatic price that they’ll never forget.
In Drake Bell’s song “In the end” he mentions the lyrics “And in the end are you stronger?” Do you no longer need to recover?” these lyrics hit so hard. Because they were very strong. They all were going through so much without the world knowing. They just continued to work for themselves and for their families.
Time.
Time is what it’ll take for them all to completely recover.
But with the amount of trauma the stars been through it’s like how can they recover from years worth of torture?
And in the end they are stronger.
They will always need to recover and heal for their own piece of mind.
In the end they are much stronger.
But at what price?At what cost? And was it all worth the cost of fame they had to pay?
You never know what goes on in somebody’s life behind their smiles.
