Pookalam, a floral art form,
celebrated in festivals of Onam,
with colorful and intricate designs,
being decorated, on the floors.

Each flower weaves a lovely tale,
adorning wishes, from the hands,
arranged in pleasing compositions,
suiting aesthetics, of their makers.

Using chalks, or the strings,
they first make the outlines,
creating foundation with marigold,
gradually adding, layers...
