You succumbed to the darkness, this is why you're so weak
You faded into the shadows, and let the panic win
You know you always were quite a freak

I wake up in my bed, heavily breathing
My cat resting on the pillow above my head
For breakfast I don't really feel like eating
I don't know why, but I'm filled with dread
