Why do people do bad things?
Alas "Bad" is a disguise for other things.
Defining it has all to do with intention
Sometimes it's the dealing of their cards
Mostly it's needs not known how to mention
Miscommunication after miscommunication makes our lives hard.
Sometimes it's all to do with perspective
things that are wrong by societal standards can look like they're right.
When the people making calls are ineffective
Our moral compass turns into fight or flight.
Sometimes destruction is necessary
Like cleansing fires to a forest of decay
Even though change can be scary
From the beaten path we must stray.
Sometimes human condition symptoms bombard
Manifesting fear of ones on mind
A lack of courage can leave morality jarred
People sometimes forget to be kind.
