Time has blown you away from me like strong winds,
I hope you don't forget what we have shared.
It seems like it was only yesterday when we were together,
Those good old memories,
Eighteen years back,
I still yearn,
Together we smiled,
Together we laughed,
Together we danced.
Young and naive I was,
Slowly by slowly,
You taught me how to love.
Slowly by slowly we got attached,
Suddenly fate detached us.
I am overwhelmed in my present by my past,
The old photos of us I still have.
My mind asks,
“Whom are you waiting for?”
and I answer,
“An everlasting last and who are you to ask ?”
