The light kept shining
I saw it ,
but I ignored it,
because deep down I felt I wasn’t worthy of being there

Deep down I felt I was too broken
I felt I was beyond fix
And with that,
I drowned deeper in the pit of pains and darkness,
I lost my mind,
I stopped thinking straight,
I went numb, I couldn’t feel a thing
just depressed,
My heart was cold

But it was never to late to reach out to the light
