“A Perception of my life”

I looked at my life today
Wondered where I’ll be tomorrow
Holding on to the sorrow
Lord maybe I could borrow a smile
Walking through this trial
In life trying to fulfill my desires
While the Lord awaits
Time has passed and here I find myself
Another day came, another day went
And I rent my heart before you
Where is life
Where is light
I fight with it in my mind
The Lord has tried
Trying to get right
As I look at my life
Take it one day at a time
