It was a big and brown bear,
Gifted to me by my mother dear,
I was a few months old,
To me, it was more valuable than gold.
I always hugged it tight,
And slept with it alright.
I thought my teddy would fight the demons,
The ones who come, gets beaten.
I named her as Chubby,
Short for Choco Baby,
She was my first best friend,
And will forever be, until the end.
My feelings for her are a little too special,
Even when you give me a multiple,
I feel safe when I hold her,
She radiates warmth when I hug her.
Just like my mother,
She will never be comparable with another.
She never gets tired from giving me big bear hugs,
I used to hide it from my little brother, under a rug.
I loved her very much,
And will always do, without any obligations as such.
She has seen me crying on my tough days,
Even though she couldn't say, she never left me astray.
She gave me immense joy,
I don't consider her anymore as just a toy.
She'll forever be my favourite,
Being with her is an absolute delight.
