Fear of Losing Love
Afraid, I am, of becoming obsessed,
For I feel it creeping, slow, unblessed.
I know this path, yet stand powerless,
Helpless to halt this growing mess.
I just want to be somebody to someone,
To matter, to be loved, to belong to one.
But no one’s there, no road to call home,
Just a yearning to not be alone.
Is it foolish to cling as they slip away,
To grasp at inches that decay,
Every space between a thousand...
