silhouette
that's knocking

eventide

the lucky guy
who's name
occupies
the frosted
glass door
in all caps
on the outside

and in my
otherwise
black & white
noir filtered
eyes
you strut in
with your
swinging thighs
and graze
your hand
smearing evidence
of reds
on my walls
lengthwise

but to
conclude
that this
all manifests
guilt
would be
unwise
•••
regardless
of what
it all
implies
•••
all i know
is you're
at least
danger
in
disguise
•••
and i'm
in
desperate need
of a danger
to
romanticize
•••
so i take
a deep breath
or two
and say "hello"
