this poem does take a turn to the dark side. as do most of my poems. if you're in a good mood or not looking for something depressing to read please click off.

everyone has their own dreams.
whether it's to go skydiving
or travel the world.
everyone has dreams.
maybe it's something simple.
like losing 10 pounds.
or finally cutting the hair you grew out.
in the end we all have dreams.

why do we have dreams?
hope.
wonder.
curiosity.
when you think of it all the things
that we blame from going wrong.
at some point.
in some part of the planning.
we had hope.
we had hope that the decorations were perfect.
we had hope that our love would love us back.
we had hope for all the things that turned to shit.
so i ask you one question....
is the hope,
the dream,
of you going skydiving
or traveling the world
really truly exist?
is it really worth looking forward too.
when we have no idea what
the world has to offer.
we have no clue.
no saying on how it plays out.
no matter how much we
beg and scream....
we won't get what we truly deserve.
