"I have never seen such results in my entire career! ". Never had a comment made me this elated.

The past few months were a roller coaster ride. Feelings of despair and the need for validation was taxing. I kept searching for a reason to wake up and pore over my books.

Memories haunted my days and nights.
It was difficult for me to cry. It was never easy to begin with, however, I was able to vent out my blocked feelings.
I resorted to movies that made me bawl my eyes out. It was cathartic.

Despite all this, I was handed over a new target. Initially, it was a big ask.
Nevertheless, I got the courage to cross the insurmountable.
Finally, I succeeded.

It left me moping how powerful a human can be. Even if you are broken to a thousand bits, there is always a way to succeed. It just gets obscured, temporarily.

Small words of appreciation go a long way.
It gives the end of a tether to hold on to and climb all the way up.
You may slip down, but it's alright, life's not a smooth ride.
You get bruised trying to hold onto the rope of hope.
That's when you should dote on yourself the most.

If no one applauds you,
rememeber to reward yourself a token of love- "I am so proud of you! ",
or getting your favourite flower.
Mine's sunflowers.

No matter what happens, be the sunshine in your wintry world.
