The journey has come to an end,
The memories etched in my heart,
It may fade away soon, just like a scar,
However, some are lingering around my heart.
The LIFE, my chauffeur, ready to take me on the next adventure,
Like a kite ripped adrift from its tether,
My existence is drifting on its own.
Weaving through meandering paths,
Sometimes alone, often with a friend
Our Happy memories flashed before my eyes,
And I want to keep those memories eternally frozen in my heart.
Like soft rain smoothing out cracks in the soil,
The brief showers of beautiful discourse smoothed my broken spirit,
We snapped one final photo, one more time,
But teeming with a gazillion hopes
We parted ways with eyes full of sorrow and a heart full of hope to see one other again.
