FOR HOW LONG......?
How long shall we be led by hoodwinked men?
using panoply of characters to obtain their aims,
covered in the canopy of tricks,
round pegs in square holes,
with fake paper qualifications.
How long shall our harvest be stolen?
and their pledge broken,
shall the harvest be brought into only one basket?
yet we all suffer this sequestration,
with our wealth linked into one pocket,
our interest sold as food in the market?
How long shall we stay in this house of horror?
in tears and in terror,
how much can we say for the morrow?
sleeping without pillows,
in our numbers larger than furrows,
yet,we lay low,
in various rows,
defeated by this buffalo,
in this sorrow,
we plea to pharaoh,
will they not let us go?
