I woke up to beautiful aroma of mama's breakfast
and in my haste to reach the kitchen
I almost feel on my face
mama smiled at me and I just knew she had prepared my favourite
I ran to her
and hugged her tightly
I felt the tears burning behind my eyes
I let them flow freely as I closed my eyes
I knew my tears were silly
but if you were me
you would understand why this felt overwhelming
But even with this happy feeling
I knew deep within me
that I was only dreaming
and even as she slipped from my hands freely
I felt grateful for the dreamscape and the dream lie that my Mama truly loved me...
