Mayhem
#WritcoPoemPrompt36

Rising oceans,
A warming globe,
Savage storms,
A warning foretold

I look around and see,
world drowning in its own tears,
The demons are we ourselves,
and see the irony, we ourselves fear.

I beg your mercy to the lives you end,
but, I know you'd say ''first, let someone else stand''.
All you know is that ''I have my rights reserved'',
and when it comes to the duties you howl ''authorities, the earth should be conserved''.

Oh people, wake up, I beg wake up,
save the planet, save your mother.
Or else watch your mayhem approaching with the death of your home,
When the landscapes will be there, your world will be taken by storm.
