In the end it was just me and my thoughts,
A painful trap, long after you were gone.
I will never be able to know why I was treated wrong,
why I never had a place to truly belong.
In the end its just me and my deep thought,
Nothing is going to erase me and I can't be brought.
I am nothing for you and
you are nothing for me,
Without your support I know what I've had to see.
I can't change history or rearrange the list of lies,
Without your love I can move forward and cut ties.
A painful trap had me kept,
Just like your pattern of hate had me swept.
