O negative feelings why do you come
And make me feel so down and out
You enter me now and then
And make me sad then and now
I do want to keep you away
And stop me from not touching me
But then I feel that you are the one
Which show me the path I need to take
You are the one who show me the way
By exposing me to things not going the right way
I should not perhaps not push you away
But I need to understand you to find the right way
Understanding you makes me calm
And not the way I thought would harm
By giving me the signals that I need to address
You always put me on the right alert
