The Question
The Question was asked,
"fine" Replied Obvious.
Glared away burdens weighed their best. Mind felt hands-
divided family and friends.
Redemption came-
The sun,
my eyes,
were blinded.
I Sheilded until gone.
"I Love You" Reached out.
But, I refused to Listen.
"I Love you" yelled out,
I continued with my Obsession.
"I love you"
never grabbed hold of my aflictions
The question was asked,
"No" was Replied.
She floated away never minding the "why".
Emotions crashed-
on the shore of my error.
Sorrow rained-
no medicine could drown her terror.
Daily an empty Shell -
Walks her garden Path.
Each bulb a Cornerstone-
building my wrath.
"I love you" reached out - Scorn and torn-
She Would not hear.
"I Love you" whispered -
Never falling on deaf ears.
"I love you" came out-
There's nothing left to fear.
The question was asked -
My heart gave its reply.
Each broken piece a mirror -
into their disguise.
Alone and helpless-
my anger turned to the sky.
A Loaded gun,
empty bottle,
a moment of hesitation-
An Angelic Knock,
an open door,
and Joyous Celebration.
"I Love You" screamed out,
the end is never certain.
"I Love You" cried out,
Life is just an illusion.
"I love you" was silent,
I tried like hell to listen.
