In love's labyrinth
In heart's depth lies a love so true,
Yet she turns away, as stars do fade from view.
Not mine to hold, nor mine to bestow,
For it is hers alone, though she knows not its glow.
A burden heavy, this love I bear,
Bound by threads of fate's relentless snare.
No refuge found, no balm to mend,
Hers alone, mixed with sorrow in the end.
Pulsing and trembling, this silent ache,
It steals away, a part of me it does take.
Seeking solace, yearning for peace,
In love's labyrinth, where troubles never cease.
Here I stand, love unclaimed and unseen,
Lost in a world where hearts are torn and keen.
Bearing this weight beneath sorrow's skies,
Love's heavy burden, my heart it belies.
