Well here's my story
For all those who never knew me
I was born and raised
In a small town in Kentucky
i was born into a
poverty stricken hometown
My childhood was rough,
my dad was never around
And my mom yeah,
she worked all the time
She worked like a slave
But barely made a dime
I had some big dreams
Back in that day
But that was before
i started fading away
Wasting precious time
Like I would never die
Never thinking how life lasts
For only a blink of an eye
I let my temptations
Get the best of me
But here Im still standing
Well what's left of me
Took my whole life to Realize
That the world that I knew
Was a world made of lies
And suddenly i find
That the path that I was on
Was not what I thought
My dreams were now gone
So i took some time out
To rediscover who I am
Because I lost all those
Who never gave a damn
And I am all I have left
Though I am broken and alone
But unlike all the others
My heart will never turn to stone
My light will keep shining
I will try to change the world
I don't know if Im able
For I'm only one girl
But I'll take all my pain
And transform it completely
I'll surprise all of those
Who decided to leave me
Ill change back into
The girl i always was
I'll never again
Be controlled by the drugs
I will show the world
that it's never too late
To just give up and settle
For a damned fate
We are all made for more
We should let our hearts lead
Never get caught up
In selfishness and greed
We are put here on earth
To learn and to grow
It's the process of evolving
Our everlasting Souls
