Ripe
I am not the prettiest girl in the room,
My body is not what it once was.
I have scars bumps and wrinkles
My eyes no longer twinkle
I’m not innocent nor sweet
The world has hardened my softness long ago
Despite these facts I can please you beyond threshold
I am seasoned and ripe
No longer green nor sour
I am a deep dark redness
I am sweet and juicy to the core,
Eat me, spit the rest of me out and leave out of the back door…
