The Cycle Of Life
Once I lived in a oasis,
Where life was teeming.
Each day brought buds to blossom,
Every pedal a prismaric palette.
Birds sang songs of serenity,
Fawns frolicked, feeding on fragrant flowers.
The blades of verdant grass
Full of virility and vitality, stood erect.
The water, a heavenly cerulean,
Rejuvenated me, enabling a careless soul.
Yet one season slipped into another,
The wind's current carrying change.
Sands of time snaked,
Permiating the pond's perimeter.
